Briefings & Prep

Walk into every day, and every meeting, already briefed.

Each weekday morning, Ari reads your calendar, the threads you haven’t answered, your open todos and your priorities, and tells you what today holds and what needs you. Then, before each meeting, it sends the prep: who’s coming, what happened last time and what you still owe them.

Good morning, Maya

Nice work getting the Northwind deck out last night. That one had been hanging over the whole week.

Today

A heavy afternoon: three calls back to back from 1 to 4, then nothing. Your one real focus window is 9:30 to noon.

Worth your attention

Jordan at Northwind asked for a time for Thursday’s intro and is still waiting. If you haven’t already answered, it’s the one to do first. Maya takes your proposal to her CFO on Monday, and the pilot pricing is still in your drafts.

Against your priorities

Nothing on this week’s calendar touches the book chapter. This morning’s window is the only place it fits.

What’s different

Briefed on your day, and on every meeting in it.

01

A brief built from your own day

Not a feed. Ari reads the threads you haven’t answered, the todos due in the next day, today’s calendar and the priorities you set, and writes a couple of minutes’ reading about those.

02

Prep before every call

A ten-second brief and fuller prep, sent ahead of each meeting by Slack, email, Teams or text: who’s coming, what happened last time, what you owe them. For people outside your company, Ari researches them first.

03

Timed to how you’re getting there

Prep lands ten minutes before a video call, half an hour before an in-person meeting, and earlier still when you have to travel to it.

04

Quiet when there’s nothing to say

Have the morning brief every weekday, on Mondays only, or only when something important is happening. On a quiet day it skips rather than send filler. Tell it how you like it in plain words: “keep it terse, add the weather.”

One Ari, not another app

It already knows what your other apps know.

Every Ari app reads from the same memory of your work, so nothing has to be copied between them, and each one gets better as you use the others.
