A year can change a lot.

When I look back on the last year at Ariso, one of the things I feel most invigorating is to have built alongside Max and to have brought SciSummary into the company from the beginning, even if we never really said it out loud at the time.

That decision didn't come from a press moment or a clean strategic memo. It came from working together. From seeing the way Max builds. From the pace, the clarity, and the chemistry. We had already worked together back at J1, so by the time Ariso started taking shape, the trust, the shared rhythm, the sense that we could build something bigger together were all already there.

That matters more than people think.

The best founder relationships are not just about fit on paper. They're about how you move together when things are messy, how quickly you can turn an idea into something real, and whether you make each other better in the process.

SciSummary came from a place I care deeply about: helping people learn better and make sense of complexity faster. Ariso is pushing that same mission forward in a different setting, helping people and teams work with better context, better follow-through, and reflections that lead to better decisions.

So the real story here is not just that SciSummary joined Ariso.

It's that after a year of building together, it became obvious that we were already working toward the same future.

And that future matters more now than ever.

Everyone is using AI. The question underneath that is what happens to the junior roles, the apprenticeship path, the early steps where people learn how to think, how to research, how to contribute. If AI changes those entry points, then the next generation has to become AI-ready in a deeper way, not just AI-aware.

That's where I think this matters.

Better learning. Better work. Better people.
